Not all parks are the same, so it's important to compare thoroughly and
choose with care. To make things as straightforward as possible we've
included everything here that you need to consider.
As members of both the British Holiday and Home Park Association
(BH&HPA) and the National Caravan Council (NCC) we adhere to strict
standards set out in their Codes of Practice. They exist to protect both
your investment and our high standards. Information packs are available
with useful guidance on your obligations and our commitments.
Finance
The purchase is both affordable and straightforward. Our own finance
packages are underwritten by Lloyds Blackhorse; dedicated to leisure finance. Packages can be individually
tailored to suit your financial circumstances so your investment works
both now and throughout the life of the caravan. Of course, you are
welcome to arrange your own finance but it does make sense to consult
our experts first. We offer low deposit options with keen interest rates
on a loan spread over seven years.
Subletting
The extra income you can earn can be substantial, so it's important
to choose a park where you benefit from high demand by holidaymakers.
There's no obligation to do so, but if you are looking for a return on
your investment it's comforting to know that at Chesil Holiday Park you
benefit from powerful and effective national marketing campaigns.
Through our own activities and those of leading national booking agents
we generate bookings in spring and autumn as well as school holidays.
We handle all the arrangements so all you have to do is advise us of
the dates to let. If you prefer, you're free to arrange your own
lettings independently, but as a five star park our standards are high
and it's important that these are maintained for owners and
holidaymakers alike.
In line with the normal obligations of a 'landlord', you are obliged
to have a TV license and carry out annual safety checks on gas and
electrical appliances which we can arrange for you.
Annual Costs
The single park fee is inclusive of everything - vat, hard-standing
base, park maintenance, connection to gas and electricity services,
water rates and connection to mains.
