Happy children, happy holidays!

Owners of Chesil Vista Holiday Park in Weymouth, Dorset - have made significant investment into the Park facilities ahead of the 2011 holiday season. A number of exciting new children’s attractions will be unveiled when the park opens to the public on 19th March 2011, all of which are free to Chesil Vista guests.

The family-owned caravan park will have all-new children’s play facilities which include an indoor soft play area with two storeys of equipment, a separate toddler’s area and plenty of adult seating.

Also new for 2011 will be a series of visits from the ever-popular children’s television characters Peppa Pig, Bob the Builder, Scooby-Doo, Spongebob Squarepants, Fireman Sam, Four Arms from Ben 10 and Humungousaur from Ben 10 Alien Force! Characters will visit the park on specific days for afternoon tea and activities, presenting an opportunity for a child’s holiday wish to come true at Chesil Vista.

A brand new mascot for Chesil Vista will also be introduced in 2011. It will make regular appearances around the Park throughout the season - more details to be revealed shortly. Linking in with this new children’s character, a themed activity pack full of quizzes, puzzles, games and challenges will be provided to each visiting child to keep them busy throughout their stay.

Graham Frampton, Managing Director of Waterside Holiday Group, said: “We recognise that when children are happy the entire family can relax and have an enjoyable holiday, so this year we have invested heavily in the park and enhanced the children’s facilities and entertainment with the intention of maximising the fun factor for every child who visits us. We are confident that the investment – which is the most significant investment we have made in five years – will ensure that a holiday at Chesil Vista is even better than ever!”

As well as the enhanced children’s attractions, there will be a brand new ‘Chesil Bistro’ providing a further dining option for visitors. The Chesil Bistro will be open at lunchtimes and evenings throughout the 2011 season.

Chesil Vista Holiday Park is located in Weymouth in Dorset overlooking Portland Harbour and Chesil Beach.
