Weymouth Harbour will again play host to the annual 'Dorset Seafood Festival'. This event has become a firm favourite with many people travelling from far and wide to visit. This year the harbourside show will feature demonstrations from celebrity chefs such as Mark Hix and the winner of Masterchef 2009, Mat Folas.
With over 60 stalls this year creating a seafood village across the waterfront on both sides of Weymouth's Old Harbour, seafood fans both young and old will be able to enjoy a range of freshly cooked seafood dishes. Last year’s menus included paella, scallops with asparagus puree and morel mushrooms, mussel chowder, barbequed mackerel, smoked salmon and crème fraiche pancakes.
